Chattahoochee Munitions sells this 22 ARC AICS magazine as the factory magazine for its CM7S 22 ARC bolt action: a 10-round MDT Gen2 polymer magazine in the short-action AICS pattern. One ships with every CM7S 22 ARC.
The CM7S is a bolt action, so it does not use AR15 magazines. Its CM7 chassis, and the MDT bottom metal on the walnut-stocked models, take AICS-pattern magazines, and this 22 ARC AICS magazine is the one Chattahoochee Munitions supplies with it. See every configuration in Flight Deck 22.
Why an AICS-Pattern 22 ARC Magazine
AICS is the common detachable magazine pattern for Remington 700 footprint bolt actions. A detachable 10-round 22 ARC AICS magazine lets you load and unload quickly and carry a spare in the field.
22 ARC was designed around the AR15’s 2.260-inch magazine length (see the SAAMI announcement accepting 22 ARC). This magazine accepts cartridges up to 2.480 inches, so it has room for longer cartridges than an AR15 magazine accepts.
Construction
MDT makes the magazine with a heavy-duty polymer body, a tempered steel spring and a polymer follower. It weighs 3.8 oz, and the floorplate comes off for cleaning.

22 ARC AICS Magazine FAQ
What magazine does the CM7S 22 ARC use?
This 10-round MDT Gen2 polymer 22 ARC AICS magazine. One ships with every CM7S 22 ARC.
Does it work in the CM15 AR15?
No. The CM15 uses the AR15-pattern 22 ARC AR15 magazine. The two magazines are not interchangeable.
How long a cartridge will it accept?
Up to 2.480 inches overall, longer than the 2.260-inch magazine length 22 ARC was designed around.
Will it fit other AICS bolt actions?
It is short-action AICS pattern, so it fits AICS-compatible bottom metal and chassis. Confirm fit with the maker of any other firearm; the firearm must also be chambered in 22 ARC.
How many rounds does it hold?
10 rounds.
Who makes a 22 ARC bolt action?
Chattahoochee Munitions manufactures the CM7S 22 ARC bolt action with a Mos-Tek 1:8 twist barrel, as a 12.5-inch pistol or SBR and an 18-inch rifle, walnut-stocked 18-inch and 12.5-inch models, plus 12.5 and 18-inch barreled actions.
