CM7S 338 ARC
Chattahoochee Munitions manufactures the CM7S 338 ARC bolt action as complete factory firearms: 8-inch and 12.5-inch pistols or SBRs, 16-inch rifles, walnut-stocked 12.5 and 16-inch models with WOOX furniture, and barreled actions. Every CM7S barrel is a Mos-Tek 416R stainless barrel with 5R rifling, finished in E100 Blackout Cerakote and threaded 5/8×24, with a 1:6 twist on the 12.5 and 16-inch barrels and 1:5 on the 8-inch.
Short-barrel subsonic shooting is what these bolt action rifles are made for. A bolt action does not cycle when it fires, so with the 307 gr subsonic load and an enclosed suppressor it adds no action noise and runs any subsonic load without tuning. The 16-inch rifles also suit supersonic loads for flatter shooting. See the full lineup in Containment Zone 338, and compare platforms in 338 ARC bolt action vs semi auto.
