CM7S 6mm ARC Predator Rifle — 18-Inch Cobalt Kinetics Green
The 6mm ARC predator rifle from Chattahoochee Munitions pairs the CM7S bolt action with an 18-inch Mos-Tek barrel and CM7 billet-aluminum chassis. This complete firearm brings manually operated bolt-action function to CM’s supersonic predator-hunting and precision-shooting lineup.
Cobalt Kinetics Green Cerakote covers the chassis and stock, complemented by an AI Dark Earth grip and magazine. A TriggerTech Remington 700 Primary trigger, pinned 20 MOA rail and adjustable stock complete the principal equipment supplied with this configuration.
A 6mm ARC Predator Rifle for Field Use
For predator hunters, selecting a firearm involves carrying comfort, shooting position, stock fit and ammunition suitability. This CM7S configuration provides an 18-inch barrel, adjustable length of pull and integrated interfaces for compatible support accessories.
Select ammunition intended for the animal and conditions involved, then confirm its accuracy in the individual firearm. The cartridge designation alone does not establish an effective hunting distance.
CM7S Action — Full PVD Coating
The CM7S action is designed to Chattahoochee Munitions specifications and uses a Remington 700 footprint. Three locking lugs provide a 60-degree bolt throw, while an integrated recoil lug and pinned 20 MOA Picatinny rail are standard features.
The one-piece bolt incorporates spiral fluting, a .718-inch body diameter, an M16-style extractor and an oversized bolt knob. The action also features wire EDM raceways, a side bolt-stop release and tool-less fire-control removal.
A .062-inch firing pin accommodates small-rifle-primer brass. Full PVD coating provides the action’s protective surface finish.
18-Inch Mos-Tek Barrel
This 6mm ARC predator rifle uses a barrel manufactured in collaboration with Mos-Tek from 416R stainless steel with 5R rifling. The confirmed twist rate is 1:7.
The barrel has a shouldered crown, 5/8×24 muzzle threads and an E100 Blackout Cerakote exterior finish. It mounts with a Remage barrel nut.
TriggerTech Remington 700 Primary
Choose a flat or curved TriggerTech Remington 700 Primary trigger. Pull weight is externally adjustable from 1.5 to 4.0 lb. The trigger incorporates TriggerTech’s Frictionless Release Technology and CLKR adjustment system.
Photographs may depict older flat triggers fitted with trigger shoes. Current flat triggers do not include those shoes.
Cobalt Kinetics Green Chassis and Stock
The CM7 chassis is machined from a single block of billet aluminum. Its Cobalt Kinetics Green Cerakote finish matches the stock, while the flared magazine well and ambidextrous release serve the AICS-pattern magazine system.
The chassis provides M-LOK compatibility, dual integrated QD sling sockets and a full bottom ARCA rail. A large trigger guard offers clearance for gloved operation.
The modular stock-adapter system uses a single-bolt interface for compatible stock options. The grip interface accepts compatible AR15 grips without an integrated dovetail.
6mm ARC Predator Rifle Fit and Dimensions
Complete firearm weight is 7 lb 6 oz. Overall length adjusts from 31.50 to 38.00 inches, and length of pull adjusts from 6.0 to 13.5 inches.
The CM Precision Vertical Crossover Grip, developed in collaboration with MK Machining, is supplied in AI Dark Earth. Stock adjustment allows the firearm’s fit to accommodate shooter preference and equipment.
Included AICS Magazine
One 10-round 6mm ARC AICS-pattern magazine in AI Dark Earth is included with this 6mm ARC predator rifle. The CM7S magazine architecture differs from the AR15-pattern system used by the semi-automatic CM15.
For additional magazines, visit the MDT 6mm ARC AICS magazine page and review the available options.
Suppressed Use
Chattahoochee Munitions prefers an enclosed, conventional baffle suppressor for the bolt-action CM7S. The manually operated action does not have the gas-operated cycling system found in the CM15.
When selecting a suppressor for this 6mm ARC predator rifle, confirm cartridge approval, bore suitability, barrel-length rating and mounting compatibility. The 5/8×24 muzzle threads identify the interface but do not establish compatibility by themselves.
Supersonic ammunition continues to produce a sonic crack when suppressed. Read our 6mm ARC suppressor guide for CM’s platform-specific preferences.
