CM7S 375 Raptor Bolt Action Rifle 16″ – Cobalt Kinetics Green / Coyote

The CM7S 375 Raptor Bolt Action Rifle from Chattahoochee Munitions is a purpose-built bolt-action platform designed around the performance and versatility of the 375 Raptor cartridge. Built on the CM7S action and paired with a 16-inch 1:7 twist barrel, this rifle combines a compact overall package with premium components, broad adjustability, and a hunting-focused design.

Finished in Cobalt Kinetics Green Cerakote with Coyote furniture, this 375 Raptor Bolt Action Rifle pairs the CM7S action with a billet aluminum CM7 chassis, adjustable telescoping stock, TriggerTech Primary trigger, and CM Precision Vertical Crossover Grip.

For shooters building a complete 375 Raptor setup, the Raptor Paddock brings together additional 375 Raptor firearms, suppressors, ammunition, and related products.

Purpose-Built CM7S Action

The CM7S was developed as a modern Remington 700-footprint action rather than relying on a conventional factory receiver. At the heart of this 375 Raptor Bolt Action Rifle is a steel 3-lug action with a 60-degree bolt throw, providing ample scope clearance and a short, efficient lift.

Wire EDM-cut raceways promote consistent tolerances and smooth cycling. The one-piece bolt features a .718-inch body, spiral fluting, an oversized bolt knob, and an M16-style extractor. A large ejection port, side bolt-stop release, and tool-less fire control removal add practical serviceability and straightforward operation.

The action also includes a pinned 20 MOA Picatinny rail, dual-pinned .300-inch recoil lug, and a .062-inch firing pin designed to accommodate small-rifle-primer brass. Full PVD coating adds corrosion resistance while contributing to smooth operation throughout the action. The complete CM7S action weighs approximately 25 ounces.

16″ 375 Raptor Barrel With 1:7 Twist

A 16-inch 416R stainless steel Mos-Tek barrel forms the core of the 375 Raptor Bolt Action Rifle. The barrel uses 5R rifling with a 1:7 twist, a shouldered crown, 11/16×24 muzzle threads, and a Remage barrel-nut mounting system. It is finished in E100 Blackout Cerakote.

  • 16″ barrel length
  • 416R stainless steel construction
  • 5R rifling
  • 1:7 twist rate
  • Shouldered crown
  • 11/16×24 muzzle threads
  • Remage barrel-nut mounting system
  • E100 Blackout Cerakote finish

The fast 1:7 twist is well suited to the heavy projectiles commonly associated with 375 Raptor. The 11/16×24 threaded muzzle also gives the rifle compatibility with appropriately threaded muzzle devices and suppressor mounting systems.

For suppressed use, Chattahoochee Munitions offers the PLACID 375 suppressor as a dedicated 375-caliber option. Shooters interested in an integrated reflex-style setup can also explore PLACID OTB configurations for the CM7S platform.

TriggerTech Primary Trigger

Each 375 Raptor Bolt Action Rifle is equipped with a TriggerTech Remington 700 Primary trigger. TriggerTech’s Frictionless Release Technology is designed to provide a crisp break with minimal overtravel, while the pull weight is externally adjustable from 1.5 to 4.0 pounds in 1-ounce increments.

Customers can select either a flat or curved trigger. Some product photography may show an earlier flat TriggerTech trigger equipped with a trigger shoe. Current production flat triggers no longer use that shoe.

CM7 Billet Aluminum Chassis

The CM7 chassis is machined from a single block of billet aluminum and designed around the CM7S action. Its flared magazine well accepts AICS-pattern magazines, while an ambidextrous magazine release supports operation from either side.

The chassis incorporates a full-length bottom ARCA rail, M-LOK compatibility, dual integrated QD sling sockets, a large trigger guard for gloved use, AR-15 pistol-grip compatibility, and a modular single-bolt stock adapter system. These features give the 375 Raptor Bolt Action Rifle a broad range of setup options for field use and supported shooting positions.

Adjustable Stock and CM Precision Grip

This Cobalt Kinetics Green configuration uses a telescoping stock with an adjustable Coyote cheek riser. Length of pull adjusts from 6.250 to 14.250 inches, allowing the rifle to fit a wide range of shooters and positions.

The rifle is also equipped with the CM Precision Vertical Crossover Grip, developed in collaboration with MK Machining. Its vertical geometry supports a natural hand position for precision bolt-action shooting while remaining well suited to hunting use.

The adjustable stock, cheek riser, ARCA rail, and M-LOK interfaces make it easier to configure the 375 Raptor Bolt Action Rifle around different optics, supports, sling setups, and field positions without changing the core rifle platform.

AICS Magazine Compatibility

The CM7 chassis uses AICS-pattern magazines, and each rifle includes one Magpul PMAG 10 7.62 AC AICS magazine. This gives the rifle access to a widely supported magazine ecosystem instead of tying it to a proprietary design.

Compact 375 Raptor Hunting Platform

Despite the adjustability of the chassis system, the CM7S remains compact. With the stock collapsed, overall length is 28.250 inches. Fully extended, overall length reaches 36.00 inches, while complete rifle weight is 7 pounds 4 ounces.

That combination makes the CM7S 375 Raptor Bolt Action Rifle a strong fit for hunters who want a compact, modern rifle with an adjustable chassis, fast-twist barrel, premium trigger, and corrosion-resistant action.

Shooters can pair the rifle with 375 Raptor Ammunition from Chattahoochee Munitions to create a complete rifle-and-ammunition system from a single manufacturer.
