The 8.6 Blackout AR10 Magazine offered by Chattahoochee Munitions is the 10-round SR25-pattern magazine we use and vet for the CM10 8.6 Blackout platform. Built on the Magpul PMAG 10 LR/SR GEN M3, it provides a compact magazine option for CM10 rifles, pistols and SBR configurations.
Although the underlying PMAG was originally designed around 7.62×51 NATO / .308 Winchester applications, CM uses this magazine with our 8.6 Blackout large-frame semi-automatic platform. That distinction matters: we are not simply listing a generic AR10 magazine based on published dimensions. This is a magazine configuration used within the CM10 8.6 Blackout system.
This 8.6 Blackout AR10 Magazine is intended for the CM10 and other compatible SR25-pattern systems. It is not an AICS-pattern magazine and is not the magazine used by the CM7S bolt-action platform.

The CM10 is a conventional large-frame semi-automatic built around SR25-pattern magazine architecture and DPMS High Profile component specifications. That separates it from some of CM’s other large-frame platforms that use different magazine systems.

The CM10 is a large-frame semi-automatic and uses an SR25-pattern magazine such as this 8.6 Blackout AR10 Magazine. The CM7S is a bolt-action platform and uses an AICS-pattern short-action magazine.
The two magazine systems are not interchangeable. Customers purchasing magazines for an 8.6 Blackout firearm should select the magazine according to the host platform rather than caliber alone.

Why CM Vets Its 8.6 Blackout Magazines
A magazine does more than hold ammunition. It establishes how cartridges are positioned and presented as they enter the feeding cycle. With 8.6 Blackout, CM treats magazine selection, feed geometry and firearm configuration as parts of the complete system.
