CM7S Action – Full PVD Coated
At the center of the 375 Raptor Suppressed Barreled Action is the Chattahoochee Munitions CM7S. The CM7S is a steel bolt action built around a Remington 700-style footprint, allowing the finished firearm to use a wide range of compatible stocks, chassis systems and Remington 700-style triggers.
The action uses a three-lug bolt with a 60-degree throw, an M16-style extractor and a one-piece bolt with a 0.718-inch bolt-body diameter. Wire EDM raceways provide precise bolt travel, while a pinned 20 MOA Picatinny rail provides the mounting surface for an optic.

Full 12.5″ Mos-Tek 375 Raptor Barrel
The installed Mos-Tek 12.5-inch 375 Raptor barrel is manufactured from 416R stainless steel and uses 5R rifling with a 1:7 twist rate.
An important part of the PLACID OTB design philosophy is that the 12.5-inch barrel remains unported. Chattahoochee Munitions developed PLACID OTB around the complete barrel rather than relying on barrel porting as part of the suppression system.
That distinction allows the 375 Raptor Suppressed Barreled Action to retain the full 12.5-inch barrel while incorporating substantial suppressor volume around it.
A Different Approach to Over-the-Barrel Suppression
There are multiple ways to approach a suppressed firearm system. Some designs use barrel porting or other methods that alter the relationship between the barrel and suppressor. PLACID OTB takes a different approach.
Chattahoochee Munitions designed PLACID OTB around a full-length, unported barrel and an over-the-barrel suppressor architecture. A substantial portion of the system occupies space around the barrel instead of requiring the entire suppressor assembly to extend beyond the muzzle.

PLACID OTB is a Chattahoochee Munitions-developed suppressor system. It was created around the packaging and configuration requirements of the CM7S rather than adapted from an existing conventional muzzle suppressor.
The system uses a 12.5-inch titanium reflex tube together with a 6-inch 3D-printed titanium baffle stack. The complete suppressor assembly is constructed from titanium.
The proprietary mounting and alignment system integrates PLACID OTB with the CM7S barreled action while allowing a significant portion of the suppressor system to occupy space surrounding the barrel.
