CM7S 375 Raptor Rifle 16″ – FDE Metallic / Coyote
The CM7S 375 Raptor Rifle from Chattahoochee Munitions combines the performance of the 375 Raptor cartridge with a purpose-built CM7S bolt action, 16-inch fast-twist barrel, and fully adjustable billet chassis. Designed primarily as a hunting rifle, the CM7S provides the compact dimensions, component quality, and adaptability expected from a modern precision bolt-action platform.
This 375 Raptor Rifle is finished in FDE Metallic Cerakote with Coyote furniture. The rifle combines the PVD-coated CM7S steel action with our CM7 billet aluminum chassis, adjustable telescoping stock, TriggerTech Primary trigger, and CM Precision Vertical Crossover Grip.

A Modern Action Built for the 375 Raptor Rifle
The CM7S action gives the rifle a modern foundation while maintaining the familiar Remington 700 footprint. Instead of starting with a conventional factory receiver, Chattahoochee Munitions designed the CM7S around features intended for a premium hunting and precision rifle.
The steel action uses a 3-lug bolt and 60-degree throw. The shorter bolt lift provides generous scope clearance while allowing fast, efficient cycling. Wire EDM-cut raceways promote uniform tolerances and smooth bolt movement.
A one-piece bolt with a .718-inch body incorporates spiral fluting, an oversized bolt knob, and an M16-style extractor. The action also features a large ejection port, side bolt-stop release, and tool-less fire control removal.
A pinned 20 MOA Picatinny rail provides the optics mounting interface. The action also incorporates an integrated .300-inch recoil lug and .062-inch firing pin to accommodate small-rifle-primer brass. The complete action weighs approximately 25 ounces.
Full PVD coating adds corrosion protection and contributes to smooth operation, making the action particularly appropriate for a 375 Raptor Rifle intended to spend time in hunting and field environments.
16″ Fast-Twist 375 Raptor Barrel
The 16-inch barrel is manufactured from 416R stainless steel and features 5R rifling with a 1:7 twist rate. The fast twist complements the heavy projectile weights commonly associated with 375 Raptor while keeping the overall rifle compact.
The Mos-Tek barrel uses a shouldered crown and Remage barrel-nut mounting system. The exterior receives an E100 Blackout Cerakote finish, providing a contrasting barrel finish against the FDE Metallic chassis.
- 16″ barrel length
- 416R stainless steel
- 5R rifling
- 1:7 twist rate
- Shouldered crown
- 11/16×24 muzzle threads
- Remage barrel-nut mounting system
- E100 Blackout Cerakote finish
The muzzle is threaded 11/16×24, allowing the 375 Raptor Rifle to accept appropriately threaded muzzle devices and suppressor mounting systems.
Built With Suppressed Shooting in Mind
The combination of a compact 16-inch barrel, fast 1:7 twist, and threaded muzzle makes the CM7S particularly well suited to shooters interested in suppressed 375 Raptor configurations.
The PLACID 375 provides a dedicated 375-caliber suppressor option from Chattahoochee Munitions. Customers interested in an integrated reflex-style suppression system can also explore PLACID OTB configurations developed around the CM7S platform.
This gives customers the ability to configure the 375 Raptor Rifle around their intended use rather than adapting a generic rifle platform after purchase.
For a purpose-built subsonic option, pair this rifle with our 375 Raptor 400gr Maker REX Subsonic Ammunition – Bolt Action, developed specifically for CM7S bolt-action applications.
TriggerTech Remington 700 Primary Trigger
Trigger quality is an important part of a precision bolt-action system. Each rifle includes a TriggerTech Remington 700 Primary trigger featuring TriggerTech’s Frictionless Release Technology.
The trigger is externally adjustable from 1.5 to 4.0 pounds in 1-ounce increments and is designed to provide a crisp break with minimal overtravel. Customers can choose either a flat or curved trigger when configuring the rifle.
Some product photography may depict an earlier flat TriggerTech trigger fitted with a trigger shoe. Current production flat triggers no longer use the shoe shown in those photographs.
CM7 Billet Aluminum Chassis
The CM7 chassis is machined from a single block of billet aluminum. For this configuration, the chassis receives an FDE Metallic Cerakote finish paired with Coyote furniture.
A flared magazine well accepts AICS-pattern magazines, while the ambidextrous magazine release provides convenient access from either side of the 375 Raptor Rifle.
The chassis includes a full-length bottom ARCA rail for direct compatibility with appropriate tripods and shooting supports. M-LOK attachment points provide additional accessory mounting capability, and dual integrated QD sockets provide sling mounting locations.
A large trigger guard provides additional room for gloved operation. The chassis also accepts AR-15 pistol grips without an integrated dovetail and uses a modular single-bolt stock adapter system to simplify stock interchangeability.
Adjustable Coyote Stock and CM Precision Grip
The telescoping stock provides substantial adjustment while helping maintain the compact character of the rifle. An adjustable Coyote cheek riser allows the shooter to establish a consistent position behind the optic.
Length of pull ranges from 6.250 to 14.250 inches, giving the 375 Raptor Rifle considerably more adjustment than a conventional fixed-stock hunting rifle.
The rifle is equipped with the CM Precision Vertical Crossover Grip, developed by Chattahoochee Munitions in collaboration with MK Machining. The grip combines vertical precision-rifle geometry with a design appropriate for a rifle intended to move between field positions and supported shooting.
AICS Magazine System
The CM7 chassis uses the widely supported AICS magazine pattern. Each rifle includes one Magpul PMAG 10 7.62 AC AICS magazine.
Using the established AICS interface gives the 375 Raptor Rifle access to a mature magazine ecosystem without requiring a proprietary CM-specific magazine.
Compact Dimensions for Hunting and Field Use
The CM7S combines chassis adjustability with dimensions that remain practical for hunting. The complete rifle weighs approximately 7 pounds 4 ounces.
With the stock collapsed, overall length is approximately 28.250 inches. Extending the stock increases overall length to approximately 36.00 inches. This adjustment range allows the rifle to remain compact for transport and movement while still providing a full-length shooting position when needed.
Combined with its 16-inch barrel, adjustable stock, fast-twist rifling, and modern action, the CM7S 375 Raptor Rifle provides a purpose-built alternative to adapting a conventional bolt-action rifle to the cartridge.
