Why a Walnut 375 Raptor Bolt Action SBR

This 375 Raptor bolt action SBR combines a traditional walnut stock with a modern short-barrel subsonic system. At 7 lb 12 oz and 31.75 to 32.50 inches overall, it carries like a compact hunting rifle, and the 12.5-inch barrel delivers the full performance of the 400 gr subsonic load. WOOX Walnut Stock and Forend

The WOOX Exactus walnut stock has an adjustable cheek riser and buttpad, a bottom Picatinny rail, and a QD sling mount. The WOOX Furiosa walnut forend carries M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, and WOOX Monocore M5 bottom metal feeds from AICS-pattern magazines. CM7S Action and Trigger

The CM7S action is steel with a Remington 700 footprint and a full PVD coating. It has three locking lugs, a 60-degree throw, and a one-piece spiral-fluted bolt with a .718-inch body, an M16-style extractor, and a .062-inch firing pin, with the standard .308 bolt face the 375 Raptor uses. Wire EDM raceways, an integrated .300-inch recoil lug, a side-release bolt stop, an oversized bolt knob, and a pinned 20 MOA Picatinny rail complete the action of this 375 Raptor Bolt Action SBR. The TriggerTech Remington 700 Primary trigger comes flat or curved, adjusts from 1.5 to 4.0 lb, and removes without tools.

Barrel and 1:8 Twist

The 12.5-inch barrel is made by Mos-Tek from 416R stainless steel with 5R rifling and a 1:8 twist, finished in E100 Blackout Cerakote, with a shouldered crown, 11/16×24 muzzle threads, and Remage barrel-nut mounting. Ammunition and Magazine

From the 12.5-inch barrel, the Chattahoochee Munitions 400 gr Maker REX subsonic load averages about 1,016 fps, roughly 917 ft-lb at the muzzle and about 842 ft-lb at 100 yards.
