TriggerTech Rem 700 Primary Trigger (Flat or Curved) – photos may depict flat triggers with shoes; they no longer have shoes
The Rem 700 Primary is the ideal upgrade to improve accuracy and precision on any Remington 700 model rifle. Featuring TriggerTech’s Frictionless Release Technology™, this drop-in trigger provides a true zero-creep break, extremely short over-travel, and offers outstanding reliability, even in the harshest environments. Utilizing CLKR Technology™, the pull weight is quickly and confidently adjusted from 1.5 – 4.0 lbs in 1oz increments from an externally accessible set screw. Due to the exceptionally crisp break, most shooters report the pull weights feeling ~0.5lbs lighter than a friction-based trigger of the same measured pull weight.
Frictionless Release Technology™, along with hardened 440C stainless steel internal components, ensures corrosion resistance and an extended service life. As Frictionless Release Technology™ does not rely on coating, polishing, or lubricating the key engagement surfaces, trigger pulls will be more consistent from shot to shot and after thousands of shots, more than you ever thought possible.

The Next Evolution in Compact Ballistics: The 338 ARC Advantage
When it comes to packing maximum kinetic energy into a highly portable, easily maneuverable platform, nothing on the market touches the 338 ARC. Designed specifically to push heavy, high-ballistic-coefficient bullets out of a compact footprint, this cartridge redefines what a short-action rifle can achieve. Our 338 ARC 16″ Lightweight Bolt Action Rifle represents the absolute pinnacle of this optimization—giving hunters, tactical shooters, and precision enthusiasts an ultra-portable backcountry tool that hits with devastating authority without weighing you down during long miles on the trail.
Why a 16″ Barrel is the Sweet Spot for the 338 ARC
Many shooters mistakenly believe that a shorter barrel means sacrificing critical velocity. However, the proprietary powder columns utilized in 338 ARC factory and custom loads are highly efficient, achieving complete powder burn well within a shorter bore length.
Choosing a 16-inch barrel configuration yields incredible structural advantages:
-
Unmatched Maneuverability: Whether you are navigating dense timber, operating inside tight hunting blinds, or deploying from a vehicle, the compact profile handles beautifully.
-
Optimized for Suppressor Deployment: A 16-inch barrel keeps the overall length incredibly compact, even with a heavy suppressor attached, preventing the rifle from becoming front-heavy or unwieldy.
-
Enhanced Rigidity: Shorter barrels are inherently stiffer than longer, traditional contours. This structural rigidity minimizes barrel whip and harmonic variance, translating directly to tighter shot groups downrange.
Premium Engineering: Lightweight Design Meets Bolt Action Reliability
Carrying a heavy rifle through rugged terrain drains your energy and degrades your shooting form when it matters most. That is why every single component of our 338 ARC 16″ Lightweight Bolt Action Rifle has been meticulously analyzed to trim away unnecessary ounces while preserving rock-solid structural integrity.

The Unforgiving Precision of a Bolt Action Platform
While semi-automatic platforms exist, a dedicated bolt-action system remains the gold standard for pure precision and mechanical reliability. By eliminating the moving gas systems and reciprocating carriers found in semi-autos, our bolt action platform channels 100% of the expanding gases directly behind the bullet. This lack of moving parts during the ignition cycle provides absolute mechanical repeatability.
Furthermore, the manual cycling of a premium bolt action ensures flawless feeding and extraction with heavy-subsonic and high-velocity supersonic projectiles alike—making this 338 ARC rifle an incredibly versatile multi-role firearm.
Seamless Integration into Your Hunting and Tactical Gear Ecosystem
Investing in a premium firearm should never mean hunting for obscure, proprietary accessories. Because this platform is engineered around proven modern dimensions, customizing your setup to match your exact mission profile is effortless.
-
Barreled Upgrades: If you enjoy switching configurations or building multiple platforms, you can pair your gear setup with a dedicated 300 Blackout barreled action or expand your safe with a hard-hitting 375 Raptor barreled action.
-
Optics and Mounts: The receiver layout easily accepts high-end optics, allowing you to maximize the unique mid-range trajectory of the 338 ARC cartridge with modern first-focal-plane scopes or thermal hunting sights.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. What is the primary benefit of the 338 ARC cartridge?
The 338 ARC (Advanced Rifle Cartridge) is engineered to deliver heavy-caliber, high-impact performance out of a compact, short-action rifle. It allows shooters to fire heavy .338-diameter bullets efficiently, offering incredible energy transfer and superior terminal ballistics compared to standard smaller-bore alternatives.
2. Why choose a 16″ lightweight barrel over a longer 20″ or 22″ barrel?
A 16-inch barrel provides the ultimate balance of portability, rigidity, and velocity efficiency for the 338 ARC cartridge. It prevents the rifle from becoming unwieldy, reduces overall pack weight significantly, and serves as an ideal host for suppressors without compromising downrange accuracy.
3. Is this rifle compatible with standard aftermarket triggers and stocks?
Yes! Our 338 ARC 16″ Lightweight Bolt Action Rifle is built utilizing a highly standardized action footprint. This ensures you can easily upgrade to your favorite aftermarket match triggers, chassis systems, and optics rails without requiring custom gunsmith modifications.
4. Can this rifle fire both supersonic and subsonic ammunition?
Absolutely. The tight tolerances and rigid design of our bolt-action receiver allow it to cycle and stabilize a wide array of bullet weights seamlessly. This makes it an exceptional choice for ultra-quiet subsonic configurations or hard-hitting supersonic hunting scenarios.
5. Does the barrel come threaded for muzzle brakes or suppressors?
Yes, the barrel features standard 5/8×24 thread pitch geometry, making it immediately ready for your favorite muzzle brakes, flash hiders, or direct-thread suppressors right out of the box.
