6.5 Creedmoor Precision Rifle Overview

The 6.5 Creedmoor Precision Rifle is the 24-inch member of the CM10 6.5 Creedmoor family in Variant Valley, the Chattahoochee Munitions home of 308 based cartridges. The 24-inch barrel suits long-range steel, paper and open-country shooting. FDE Metallic Cerakote covers the receivers, handguard and receiver extension, with coyote B5 Systems CPS Medium furniture and a Tactical Grey Cerakote barrel. For the other length, see the 18-inch CM10 6.5 Creedmoor AR10.

Muzzle and Suppressor

The 6.5 Creedmoor Precision Rifle is offered with an optional muzzle brake selection or a thread protector on its 5/8ร—24 threads. It is a supersonic semi-automatic rifle, so Chattahoochee Munitions recommends a flow-through suppressor rated for 6.5 Creedmoor and a 24-inch barrel. A suppressor reduces muzzle blast but leaves the supersonic crack.
