The 375 Raptor Barreled Action from Chattahoochee Munitions gives hunters and builders the core of a CM7S rifle while leaving the final configuration in their hands. This assembly combines the CM7S action with a 16-inch Mos-Tek 375 Raptor barrel installed using the CM7S barrel-nut system.

For the customer who wants to select his own trigger, stock or chassis, magazine and other components, the barreled action provides the foundation without requiring the purchase of a complete rifle. The action and barrel are already assembled, allowing the builder to concentrate on configuring the rest of the rifle for his intended use.

If you would rather spend your time hunting than finishing the build, head over to the Raptor Paddock to explore complete Chattahoochee Munitions firearms chambered in 375 Raptor.

What Is Included with the 375 Raptor Barreled Action?

The 16-inch 375 Raptor Barreled Action consists of two primary components:

  • CM7S action with full PVD coating
  • 16-inch Mos-Tek 375 Raptor barrel installed using the CM7S barrel-nut system

This is not a complete rifle. The barreled action provides the assembled action and barrel, leaving the customer free to select the trigger, stock or chassis, magazine and other components for the finished firearm.

CM7S Action – Full PVD Coated

At the center of this 375 Raptor Barreled Action is the Chattahoochee Munitions CM7S. The CM7S is a steel action based on the familiar Remington 700-style footprint and is designed primarily around hunting use while also being suitable for competition and other precision-rifle applications.

The action uses a three-lug bolt with a 60-degree throw, an M16-style extractor and a one-piece bolt with a 0.718-inch bolt-body diameter. Wire EDM raceways provide uniform tolerances and smooth cycling, while a pinned 20 MOA Picatinny rail provides the mounting surface for an optic.

Mos-Tek 16″ 375 Raptor Barrel

The installed Mos-Tek 16-inch 375 Raptor barrel is manufactured from 416R stainless steel and finished in E100 Blackout Cerakote.

The barrel uses 5R rifling with a 1:7 twist rate. At the muzzle, it features a shouldered crown and 11/16×24 muzzle threads.

A 375 Raptor Barreled Action Built Around the CM7S

Starting with a 375 Raptor Barreled Action means the customer does not have to begin with a bare receiver and separate barrel. The CM7S action and 16-inch Mos-Tek barrel are already installed together using the CM7S barrel-nut system.

That leaves the builder free to choose the components that determine how the finished rifle fits and handles, including the trigger, stock or chassis and magazine system.

The Remington 700-style footprint also provides access to a broad ecosystem of compatible components while retaining the features incorporated into the CM7S action.

Building Your Own 375 Raptor Rifle

For the customer determined to finish the rifle himself, the 375 Raptor Barreled Action provides the core assembly while allowing substantial control over the final configuration.

The CM7S accepts Remington 700-style triggers, and trigger pins are included with the action. Chattahoochee Munitions offers the TriggerTech Remington 700 Primary trigger as one option for completing the build.

The builder will also need an appropriate stock or chassis and magazine system. For compatible CM7S configurations, Chattahoochee Munitions offers Magpul 7.62×51 AICS-pattern 10-round magazines.

This route makes sense for someone who already knows what trigger, furniture and feeding system he wants and prefers to select those components individually.
