CM15 458 SOCOM 10.5″ Upper: Subsonic Stealth Meets Big-Bore Power
Experience the devastating impact of the CM15 458 SOCOM 10.5″ Upper. Originally developed for special operations to provide increased stopping power from the AR-15 platform, the .458 SOCOM delivers massive kinetic energy in a compact, maneuverable package. This 10.5-inch configuration is the ultimate choice for hunters in thick brush and shooters looking for the premier suppressed big-bore experience.
Engineered for Authority
The 10.5-inch heavy-duty barrel is designed to maximize the “thump” of the .458 caliber while keeping the platform light and agile. This length is particularly effective when paired with a suppressor, as it maintains a manageable overall profile while stabilizing heavy projectiles for surgical accuracy at close-to-mid ranges. Whether you’re clearing a field of hogs or building a dedicated home-defense PDW, this upper provides unrivaled energy transfer.
Premium Customization
Every CM15 upper is built to be yours. Our customizable options allow you to select from a range of M-LOK handguards for mounting essential gear, specialized Bolt Carrier Groups (BCGs) with reliable single-stack feeding, and muzzle devices designed to mitigate the significant recoil of the .458 round.
Key Features:
-
10.5” 4150 CMV Barrel: High-strength steel built for high-pressure big-bore loads.
-
458 SOCOM Caliber: Massive frontal diameter; designed to work with standard 5.56 lowers.
-
Modified Upper Receiver: Features an enlarged ejection port to ensure 100% reliable cycling of large-diameter brass.
-
Plug-and-Play: Fully compatible with mil-spec AR-15 lowers (heavy buffer recommended).
The CM15 10.5″ 458 SOCOM Upper is a hard-hitting specialist, offering the perfect balance of portability and pure, unadulterated power.

It is great! Only small issue was that the rear take down pin takes alot of effort to push in and out, for reference I mated this upper to an Anderson lower. Definitely not a big deal and I don’t think its a fitment problem. I imagine this will correct itself with more usage. Great upper otherwise.
